Introduction

ENERPARC AG is an internationally successful specialist in the whole value chain of large-scale photovoltaic (PV) power plants in the megawatt segment. The company was founded beginning 2009 and has more than 350 professional, internationally experienced employees. As pioneers of this industry, the Enerparc team is specialized in project development, installation as well as in the investment and operation of solar power plants and has offices in Hamburg, Berlin, Madrid, Bordeaux, Sydney and Bangalore. Our services range from the technical design, turnkey delivery (EPC) to the operation and maintenance (O&M) of PV power plants.

Sunnic is the 100% subsidiary of ENERPARC AG and responsible for the electricity marketing of the Enerparc electricity portfolio as well as other renewable electricity producers. With a team of around 40 employees from different areas, we are active in exchange-based electricity trading and electricity marketing.

Your Tasks

  • Setup interfaces connecting to our internal and external tools as well as APIs

  • Improvement of our existing infrastructure and introduction of new technologies 

  • Collaboration with our Data Engineers to build robust tooling for our trading team 

  • Interaction with all departments of Sunnic Lighthouse and development of applications to optimize and automate their workflows, while having the overall infrastructure in mind 

  • Thereby reviewing code from other developers and data analysts 

  • Willingness to support other departments in their IT development 

Your Profile

  • A degree in computer science or computer engineering, at least three years of professional experience in the software engineering field 

  • Expertise in understanding complex requirements and build them into a robust and maintainable application 

  • Confident with design principals & design pattern 

  • Excellent knowledge in Python and in describing a project with UML 

  • Experience with CI/CD-Pipelines and VCS-Workflows using GitHub 

  • Ideally experience with PostgreSQL, InfluxDB, Apache Kafka, Apache Airflow, AWS 

  • B1 (minimum) German language proficiency

  • Ability to explain technical details in simple language to colleagues of other departments
